Austin Pond is the lake that everyone sees in heading north to the ski area, just outside of the village of North Creek. The new owners have made many changes to this cute chalet hidden under the pine trees, 3.5 miles from Gore Mountain Ski Area. The upstairs bedrooms both have double beds with a hall bathroom between the two large bedrooms. There are two good entrances to bring in clothes and food for your get-away in the mountains. The kitchen entrance is on the main floor and has two tables for families to use for breakfast. The living room has a
gas fireplace opposite the sliding glass
doors that go out to a front deck. Off the dining room is a half bath. The
lower level also has a big sliding glass door to go out to extra parking. There is sleeping here for up to 4 people. The second full bathroom
is on the lower level and has a shower stall.
By midwinter you should be able to fish on the lake.
