Ajttrr Farm gets its name from the first letter of the names of the six grown daughters of the owners. The house is located on a large knoll half way to the top of 11th Mountain Ridge. There are 66 acres with two year round streams and borders thousands of acres of state land. The main floor of the farmhouse is completely restored with exposed pine and oak floors. The kitchen has gone from a small closet area to a 20 foot plus deluxe country kitchen with large pass through window into the dining room. The great natural light is supported by attractive recessed lighting. The Dining room has the largest and widest trundle table I have every taken a picture of and seats 14 comfortably. This area also has its own TV with VCR and stereo system. Did I mention there are 4 TVs with cable service? The entire dining area has multi-sets of windows. The living room wood stove has been updated to gas, so there is no dirty wood in the house. There are two carpeted stairs going up to the six bedrooms on the upper level. There are four bathrooms to go along with the six bedrooms. Several of the beds frames have been made from logs and limbs that have been cut on the property. We have several “one of a kind home.” This fits at the top of the, one of a kind, farmhouses that are rented in the area.
